Cannot recogize this character

インターネットのおとぎ話でわからない文字に遭遇しました。以下の画像にはわからない文字は赤で下線を引きます。

I found a character that I couldn't recognize in an online fairy tale. The character is underlined in red in the image above.

That's the katakana オ ("o").

Could it be オオカミ? Don't know whether this makes any sense

Yes, of course! After I started reading a bit more, I realized that this character was just a different font style for the katakana オ. And I also figured out that I was reading the story of the three pigs, so it is オオカミ (狼) "wolf".

Once again, I'm tripped up by something as simple as a different font style!

I wouldn't worry about that too much. It happens to all of us that different fonts throw us off (at least I hope it does).
