I was already thinking about it for a while and have decided to change my name... As someone in the staff it would be better to not have "baka" in my name (I know it's pretty late to realize that), and my new name would be more personal.

Anyway, I changed my name into Davey.

Welcome aboard, Davey! :D

An old TV show from the 50's & 60's.

Reminds me of Davey & Goliath , a religious show for kids in the good ol days. Glad you settled on the new name Dave!

Uncle Frank

👍

I was also thinking of Double D.... or DD but that's already my name on a different kind of forum.

Really?? Does this mean I can't call you DB anymore? That's too bad because I like the name Dutch Baka... Oh well, I suppose it is better than "DD" because DeeDee, to me, is a buxom brunet in a tight T-shirt and a pair of super short shorts who brings you chicken wings. 😄

Anyway, it IS your decision, and we're all gonna have to get used to calling you Dav... Davvvv..... I can't!!! To hell with it! I'll keep calling you DB which, come to think of it, sounds sort of like Davey.... OK, fine. Davey, it is.

Sounds fair to me !! Wow... and I recall having watched that kind of 'pre-muppet-days' Davey and Goliath show too !!

Lol.... you can still call me DB or Dutchy or Dutch baka if you want to.

;)

You made an introduction thread about it...!

Welcome Davey! :D

I'm getting ready to head to Nara, I leave tomorrow morning with my wife and son! :D

Enjoy your stay in Japan Petaris.
It must be a bit scary to come to Japan with all these things going on, but life in Kansai is still pretty normal so you shouldn't have any difficulties regarding that.

Well, I could have made a thread about it on the site update section as well....

Dude when I saw the title I thought this was like your going away thread lol. Davey sounds alright, but I'm always going to think of "wavey" right next to it :P

Thanks Davey,

I wasn't too worried about it. And the visit was great. My wife and son are still in Nara for a while so they can visit longer. I would love to live in Nara City someday. Some where close to Nara park. Its just so nice there. :)
