! Welcome to JREF! A lot of people hear can teach you anythign you'd like to know about Japan. some people are native japanese, some live in japan, and some are just learning, as I am ^^ I hope you stay for a lot time cause ive been hear over ayear and most o fht epeople are soo nice ^^

I won't be able to learn Japanese until my 3rd year in Highschool. My specific age shall remain hidden. Of course, I want to learn more about Japan...the language can always wait. I know some phrases already...and hopefully I will learn more here. Thank you for your greeting ^^

I'm learning French at the moment. 2 years now. I want to learn up to another 2 years before I switch to Japanese. Just wanting to finish something before I start something else.

It's nice nice to fool mother nature, they've always said, but how many times has she fooled us? Now what a way to welcome a new comer? hee, hee, hee...sorry I just wanted to say that it's colder than it should be here where I am, MoreKiwi4Me san.
WELCOME TO JREF !! I do hope you keep up your learning and then jump into the Japanese when you're ready. I appreciate your sticking to one thing at a time...I can understand that way of thinking. There may be times (I can say from experience, though I am only 25---oh...that 50 there under my name one the left...yeah, ignore that, it's only earth years, right, and they don't count as much. You know, the outer edge of the CD spins slower than the inside edge.)
So, lesson number one about Japan: The students have to clean the school after school on most all days, in almost all public and private schools...but that's only in for the first three levels--elementary, jr.high, and high school. It's not so for the upper levels nor not so much so in a few private schools. I work at a private university, and my office is about as dirty as they come. hee, hee, hee...
I hope to hear more from you as time goes by !! (earth time that is)
