If you get a chance to go to one of BoA's Eat You Up Tour performance, take it. The girl can put on a dazzling show. Here's a vid of her "The Face Tour" in Japan this year.
BoA's Bring on America Tour was launched this week with the release of her single Eat You Up. The real tour doesn't really begin until a few months from now. But her web page for the tour is up and includes the final version of the video in Quick Time. Take a look at it -- I don't think you'll be bored.
You'll have to be patient, it takes a while to load even with broadband, but well worth the wait.
'Eat You Up PV' is very good, but i prefer her songs in japanese and korean...
i don't know, but i think the lyrics is not like BoA. i mean, the most part of her songs is so lovely, sometimes it's sad... and Eat You Up seems like it's breaking the wall between the BoA who sings in Asia and the BoA that is starting the career in America...

I kind of agree with what you're saying. She adapted her style to fit the U.S. audience by trying to be more "in your face" . I prefer her earnest but kind of modest style that works in Asia.
However, I hope she does great in the U.S. Go BoA!!

and this PV [Eat You Up] it remembers me when she was younger, in the beginning of her career in Korea that she used to wear like a boy... big pants, big t-shirts and the cap, of course [a little bit of MOTO too]

Basically, what I'm saying is I think the whole 'surgery' story is a joke. She can sing, she can dance and with the current level of fame she's acquired [much like Ayu], it's natural for people to become jealous.
Now I can not recall how she sounded like in her younger age, though still it would be hard to believe since puberty can change voice anyway.
If she did have surgery, then it was simply her decision and that's that.
BoA is cool, i heard that she works for a
korean entertainment records called SM Town.

And her English is pretty good--damn good, considering it's her 3rd language after her native Korean and fluent Japanese. Check out this interview in L.A. She comes across as sweet and friendly, just the right image for her debut in the States.
BoA has admitted to being a huge fan of Michael Jackson's work, and you can see his influence in a lot of her dance moves. In this video she actually does a knock off of MJ's Smooth Criminal vid.
BoA is continuing her push into the American market, this time by teaming up with Akon. Actually, it's Akon's song featuring BoA, but she does a good job. It's catchy, and will probably do well as club music, I think--some of it sounds like her J-pop hit, Eien. Anyone agree?
Sadly, one of the best live performances in J-Pop, Hikari LIve by Utada Hikaru, was pulled from You Tube (and therefore from this forum.)

Boa is keeping busy with another album release, entitled "Identity", and a concert tour beginning Feb. 17th in Japan. If you saw her "The Face" tour (a part of it shown in a post above), you'll probably want to make it to this concert.
She's a very good dancer. When I first started listening to her, I thought she was Japanese, because everything I heard of hers was in Japanese. Her and Utada have really made a big push to try to make it onto the billboard charts.
I enjoy both the English and Japanese albums that BoA has put out I love "Energetic" and "Eat you up", I am a bit embarrassed to say that I have not listened to any of the Koren albums yet
