black market rail pass purchase

I read somewhere in this forum that there's a booth in some of the major train stations where they sell partial valid rail passes. Does anyone know about this business? Are they reliable? Thanks in advance.

I'm not 100% sure how the system works, but I believe that you can sell your ticket at this shop for about 70/80% of the price that you've bought it for, and they will sell it for 90% of the price.

Something like that. They are reliable and handy, especially on further trips.

Thanks Dutch Baka, have you ever been to one or know of the best place to find these outlets. I am planning to Tokyo trip on the 17Oct and there's a special summer fare on JREast pass that's 10000 yen for 3 day. The problem is the ticket has to be redeemed by Oct 1 and it's good for 1month.
