Back in Thailand

Well it's hot muggy and lots of thunderstorms.
I paid about $68 a month to live in something like this.

Inflation has hit Thailand pretty heavy. I can still buy bottled water here for six baht. That's about the only thing cheap not really cheap but there's a lot of things cheap not too expensive. But when you get out in the countryside people live really to the bare Bones no joke.
I'll be posting pictures on this thread from now on.

I had one trip to Thailand, about 1996. It was a great trip. Mostly Phuket with a little bit of Bangkok.

What is the draw to Thailand? Travel and adventure?
Your home base is still Japan, right? Do you maintain an apartment in Japan?

No it's a huge apartment.
I could put 12 migrant workerst on bunk beds from this apartment.
Well located too the area I mean it's safe. 7-Eleven is downstairs Little markets everywhere
After I catch up on doing things I'll start posting pictures.

Yes, l still live in Japan.
I do have the other half here. So that's the main reason why they travel back and forth this is my 5th time.

The Chinese influence is always pink even inside the apartments in buildings you see pink.
Reminds me of the Japanese band named Pink.

Some houses are pretty well maintain.

If you're new to this area you thinking about buying a house you really need to come during the rainy season because the rain floods up to like one feet too high inside homes.

Looks like an abandoned house there are many on the street in the next couple streets over also.
I don't really like your shoulder negative side of the area which I'm pretty much stationed at while in Thailand.

This is daily survival for the people there's no welfare in this country I'd like there is in America. The retired people they only get 600 baht a month to live on. Yes you heard that right 600 that's it only 600 a month and that's not dollars.

I think digital payment in many places in town represent about 90% of the purchases

Here we use LINE l i n e
It's more convenient for the vendors ticket and security cash.

Just one more reason why smart phones are basically required for life these days. It seems like the whole world outside of north America does digital payments for just about everything.
