AZN TV bites the dust

Looks like Comcast pulled the plug on AZN TV, one of the channels that focused on Asian American/Asian stuff in the US.
this sucks, as I was able to watch the news feeds from Fuji Sankei News on that channel...and do not have access to the other channel, iaTV (imaginasiaTV) because Comcast only shows it in Houston and San Francisco.
Comcast sucks....

I called and asked comcast about the "Japanese" channel they offer. Not only did they have no information about the programming on the channel, it would cost an extra $25 bucks a month, for ONE channel.

I'm waiting for surewest to become available.

Chances are good, nice gaijin, that the person you got on the phone was one of the warm body working drones they have reading from a script, or just one of the idiots that knows nothing about what their company has on their roster. Comcast does have the iatv in San Francisco and Houston, as is shown in the graph on this link:

Notice that it is plain and clear that they have it right now there, so either they are lying to you (chances are good of this, since they lied about throttling bittorrent before they got caught), or you just got an ignorant drone working the phones...both of which shouldn't surprise you too much, considering how they treat their customers...

That bites! AZN had some great music shows and anime. I would take it over all the MTV channels.

you people complain while here "cable TV" is like 40 channels. >>

Although for some or other reason the audio sometimes glitches on shows, and the audio turns to German,polish or some other foreign language xD
