I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I am currently living in America working at a BMW dealership as a technician. I really want to move to Japan (obviously) and considering I didn't go to college, just technical training, do you think it would be possible for me to obtain a job at a dealership as a technician? I originally thought I could get by with a work visa under the "skilled labor" section stating:
And then I saw it said I needed 10 years experience ... Is there any way around this or is there anything I can do to get my foot in the door?
A person with at least 10 years' experience in manufacture or repair of products special to foreign countries (including the period of time spent studying at educational institutions in a foreign country while majoring in the skills concerned) who is to engage in a job requiring such skills.
