This sounds bogus, but some of the historical background matchesツ…

too long to copy here....check it out before it gets taken down.....what do you think?

found it on another site.....

I think "involved in research and development" can mean anything. Sure they would probably have loved to have found a doomsday weapon. Whether they were sane enough to realize that it was far out of their monetary and technical grasp is another thing.

I agree. A lot of what Asahara claimed his cult was doing was inspired by his fascination with anime, according to many investigative reports. His disciples, after all, had scientific training only on the graduate level and no access to cutting-edge technology. The sarin and VX they used were reportedly very poor in quality--not the kind found in the arsenals of the US and the former USSR.

i took a one second glance at this.. i didn't read much cept *1 second*.. beforei read on.. i'm going to say i believe someone has nikola tesla's earthquake machine... just a hunch.. plus the U.S. military is making his lightning cannon into a compact thing for riots. *reads on* - big tesla fan

edit: sweet, someone knows something is going on. a person who knows about what the people in the past wanted to create can tell you about who wants what now. people want tesla's idealistic weaponry. US Navy is trying to create a dark matter cannon so i've heard.

Ever since I heard on the news that the US military was making a lightning cannon device that was in small power I was very interested in this. I was wondering about some of the past earthquakes that have happened and I found them rare. I'm surprised about the new earthquake/tsunami that happened.

Ironic that I just finished reading the April 2000 issue of Asimov's SF Magazine that had a "fictional" tale about the US military attempting to develop a "cloaking" device using Tesla's ideas with vibrating frequencies....weird... :?
