ARC Academy Tokyo and Kudan Institute...?

I did an orientation at the Shibuya ARC branch a couple of years ago although I didn't get a leave of absence from work to actually attend so I can't recommend it as a program or not. The administrative people there, though, are AWESOME. I felt like I had a personal relationship with some of the staff just through correspondence and being there a single day.
Everything was handled on a very individual level and I always had the sense someone was willing to bend over backwards to answer my questions which is very different from a larger school I'd been to previously. The only real negative was a system of proficiency testing and assignment of classes that was overly complicated and confusing to say the least....
Just save yourself some trouble and make sure you question being asked to come in a semester early for testing. I don't think it's necessary or intended but that was somehow what was (mis)communicated to me in my case.
Cumbersome steps nonwithstanding, overall it seems like a great place.
