I also heard the next day, this was just a April fools joke gotten out of hand, oh, sorry bout that, I didn't know *heh* ...
 
Hmm .. An Cafe was the first Japanese band that I heard.
I love their music.
I've been listening for about 2 years.
Oh yes, Miku + Rika Ishikawa thing was April Fool's Day joke! XD
 
My first song from An Cafe was Snow Scene...originally my friend sent it to me as a joke...but...I liked it so much...and she was very suprised and pleased XD
 
hey guys got some interesting news. Depending on how you take it, it could be good news or bad news. Miku formed a new band called Lc5.

Natalie (アンカフェみくが5人組新バンド"Lc5"結成) has just released a news article regarding Miku from AN CAFE forming a new band called Lc5. Apparently they had their first appearance in that event NEXUS J-ROCK GOES TO THE WORLD, which was broadcast a few days ago.
Other band members include Yumeji (ex-MELLO) and Reo (ex-Guy's Family) on guitars, Sato (also ex-MELLO? Not sure) on bass and Aki (I have no idea where he came from) on drums. The band's website can already be accessed via this link: lc5.jp

I thought you ancafe fans should know. Personally i'm both excited, and sad. I'm excited to see miku again, and to see his new style (look and singing), but at the same time this news makes me really sad because i feel like if this band does well at all it means the definite end of ancafe. They left the door open to a possible comeback and i had heard even scheduled a new concert for some unknown date in the future, but this worries me that it'll be the end for good. What do you guys think?
 
Hm...interesting news...I think I'm rather glad...I really like An Cafe, but lately they have been quite "in silence" and after Bou's leaving the band wasn't what it used to be...so if a new band will give new strength and energy to Miku, I am glad for it.

@AnCafe The best account about An Cafe on Livejournal is definitely the An Cafe community. Just search on an_cafe and you'll find it!
 
I think SiM is better, that's just me though.
