Does anyone else wonder if Bou's leaving had anything to do with this? It doesn't sound like something that could have happened in the short time between his leaving and now, I wonder if this had anything to do with it?

I really want to know the details behind it, though. Whether it was a matter of "If we go major, we'll sell out", the label saying "We don't like him", or something else entirely. I suppose we won't know for sure, but still. I wish we did.
We can't tell what goes on behind the scenes, but I think it's much more likely to have been the first case. I highly doubt it would have been the label's decision because Bou was pretty much the most popular member. Most of the fanbase was distraught when he left, so the band took a big risk when they made that decision. Again, I doubt a major label would take that kind of risk.
Guess we can only speculate, though. ^^
Or it could have been he was already thinking about leaving when they got the offer, which made it a more urgent decision. It wouldn't have been good if they'd just gone major and then he decided he definitely wanted to leave.
