Also/Too

皆さん、こんばんは！お久しぶりですね。最近は学校で特に忙しくなりましたから、夏休みに全然日本語を勉強しませんでした。でも僕は今学校で日本語の授業を取って日本語の勉強をするのがもっと簡単です。とにかく、「also/too」という英語の言葉について質問がありますよ！英語で聞きましょうね。

Okay, so, basically I'm aware of (I think) two different ways to express also in Japanese, however, with what I'm trying to say, I'm not sure which one to use, or if there's a completely different way of expressing it.

僕は東京に行きました。→ 彼も東京に行きました。/僕は京都にも行きました。 (got it.)
犬がかわいいです。→ 犬は大きくてもあります。
女の人がやさしいです。→ 女の人はきれいでもあります。(I'm not actually sure if these two are correct, but I think that's how you'd express it...)

Now, what if I wanted to use a verb? For example:

"I saw the people who are also going on the trip."
僕は旅行している人に会いました。→
僕は旅行している人にも会いました。(no, or at least i dont think so)
僕は旅行してもある人に会いました。/僕は旅行していてもある人に会いました。(maybe? not actually sure)
僕は「also」旅行している人に会いました。(not sure.)

日本語がかなり上達しましたね。

How to use も, or more precisely where to put も really depends on what you want to modify.

僕は東京に行きました。→ 彼も東京に行きました。/僕は京都にも行きました。 (got it.)

彼も東京に行きました He also went to Tokyo. (He went as well as myself)
僕は京都にも行きました I went to Kyoto too. (Went to Kyoto as well as Tokyo)

犬がかわいいです。→ 犬は大きくてもあります。

て is not necessary here.

女の人がやさしいです。→ 女の人はきれいでもありま す。(I'm not actually sure if these two are correct, but I think that's how you'd express it...)

僕は旅行している人にも会いました。(no, or at least i dont think so)

僕は旅行している人にも会いました。 (I met other kind of people, not only travellers.)
僕は旅行していてもある人に会いました。(I met the person also while I'm on a trip. i.e I met the person when I was not travelling.)
僕も旅行している人に会いました。(I also met the traveller - someone told me that he met the traveller. I also met the traveller.)

僕は僕と同じく/同様に旅行している人に会いました。(The person is also on a trip as same as I'm doing.)

僕は旅行もしている人に会いました。(The person is also travelling besides doing another thing, for instance, 働きながら旅行もしている. 旅行しながら働いている or "to be working while travelling" would be more common for the case, though.)
