My previous question wasn't lucky enough to get a response, but I'll try once again. Different topic, tho ^^
I found two high schools that are willing to accept me, so now I began gathering more detailed knowledge about getting settled in Japan. I tried asking asking on some Japanese forums, but (obviously) the locals had little to none information about the topics reffering to foreigners.
Here are my questions:
1. I've heard that there's no "alien registration card" anymore, and that the new one doen't have any space for an alias. I would like to have an alias tho, since my Polish name is very hard to pronounce for Japanese people. So, is it still possible to get one and use it in bank, school, when registering a bicycle and stuff? Like, a registered hanko? If I got a Japanese ID card (which I heard is now possible), and had my alias written there?
2. Since I will be 16 when coming to Japan, I will have to deal with most legal matters by myself. What should I know in this topic? Will opening a bank account, registaring my residence, buying a phone, receiving packages, buying a bicycle etc recquire one of my parent's assistance? My mother can't speak any other language than Polish, so it would be a little hard.
3. I'm a little worried about a foreign person's insurance. How does it work? A link to some English/Japanese/French website that will explain this is fine too.
Thank you in advance. I really hope that somebody would be so kind to answer atleast one of my questions.
