Oh, I hated that, Brenna. I had to do the same thing when I got my first ring. It'll be back before too long, though, and then it'll be on your finger for a long time after. ;-)
 
Hey congrats Brenna, i think it's awesome that you are are getting married so young, more people should do it, that way u wont be a grandma when u have your first kid, and can actually relate to him/her growin up. In any a case, i was just wondering, what's the deal with engagement rings, i mean does one wear them even after the wedding or just up to the time of the wedding and then what...... I never got that :?
 
It's worn with the wedding ring after the ceremony, and alone leading up to it.

Heh, my sister just went through that same thing. She's getting married next year, and she's been busy getting all of the stuff together. It sounds like something I'm glad I don't have to deal with. :p
 
:p Well, my ring's dropped off now, but they said it'll be ready for pick up Wednesday after 6pm, rather than Friday like I was told when I called and asked how long it normally takes.

Edit: Now we've also got a day mostly picked (barring any objections from family): May 27, 2006. It'll cost more for being Memorial Day weekend, but that way Brian gets an extra day on any vacation time he uses for the honeymoon, and I don't have to worry about missing classes since the spring semesters at my university are always over by the second week of May (including finals--classes actually end the last day of April most years).
