Acid Black Cherry

Has anyone listened to Aishite Nai yet? I dunno if I should wait or not cause I got another email from HMV talking about my order...but it's all in Japanese so I don't understand ANYTHING! (you'd think I'd know a bit after 2 years of learning it....I should study more...)
can anyone read Japanese?
 
It's not out till the 28th... unless the PV is gona be before that.
I'm afraid I wouldn't be any good helping with the translation... I know very little Japanese and am sure you know much more if you've been learning for 2 years.
 
Not till the 28th? How come I have it written down for the 21st then.......Man I'm so stupid!

-EDIT- It turns out that my order was delayed or something (got my friend to go to her friend to translate the email).....I hope it doesn't take THAT long....but I can wait....I think...

They just changed the release date, but that shouldn't delete your order.
But I never ordered off of Hmv though.

Okay.. I guess I have to leave a comment to that thing about his b-sides. It's not like you described it.
Those tsongs he covers are special to him, that's why he covers them. There#s something they remind him of- of some parts of his youth and his life.
He loves these songs and yeah, now he has the chance to show us how much he loves them and so he does.
Yes, I just wanted to say that, because... yeah, I don't want anyone to think of him in that way, that he covers those songs just because it's easier for him than to write a song or something. Because this is not the way yasu thinks at all.

I got an email from HMV....I have no idea if they sent it or not, but it had my address and stuff so I think they did....

I have listened to it! It's awesome as expected, sounds really sweet... but I want a translation! ... I really like the B-side too in an odd way...

Yeah I agree. He does seem to be doin a lot more slow songs/ ballads recently. I like his voice on them but definately think he should try some more updeat stuff again!

Is he ever going to release an album too? By the time he does we'll have all the tracks on it from singles!
 
hmmmm I guess I am hoping for another hard song like Spell Magic.....but however it sounds like, I bet it'll be good!
 
I hope for something like spell magic again, too.
Yasu likes Hard Rock and Metal a lot, so it's possible he tries that direction again~
But even though these are the music directions he prefers, he's absolutly talented to write and sing ballads. ^^; And I guess he knows that.
And also... it's late autmn, okay, by now it's winter... but Janne released a slow sonmg in that time every year, so i guess it's just something like normal for him. It fits to the season, the slower songs I mean ^^

And about an album.. He said there will be one for sure.
But so far he enjoys something he didn't have when he was working with janne: to release songs one after the other without much time between them. So, I guess he just uses this freedom a little longer ^^;

Did you guys notice all of the songs he released as Acid Black Cherry so far are written from the perspective of a woman? *löl*

Yeah I did notice that he writes from a womans perspective. I quite like it... and am not sure why.

I do loike Ihoujin... again not entirely sure why. It's not usualy the kind of song I would like, his voice just seems to make it work.
 
hmmm I guess I like Ihoujin.....I dunno why, but it kinda makes me think of Eygypt....like ancient egypt......well it's kinda like the music they play on these *Eygyption Treasure Hunt* puzzle game things my mom likes to play... but I have to admit it's not my favourite.

k so my CD arrived....in Canada...now I gotta go pick it up but problem is, I forgot to put my real name so now the package is for 'Amita' and I have no identification for 'Amita'...I'll find a way to get my hands on it though. For future advice, I wouldn't suggest ordering from HMV. It's not as easy as they make it sound.
 
you need ID to pick up a package? That's crazy. If they get delivered to the house any person can sign here... I don't know about when you have to collect them...

I managed to get locked out of ordering from HMV... my account got frozen... not sure why... I think there was confusion over the password... they were one of the first sites I used to make me put a number in the password... subsiquently I forgot said password and got very irritated when my usual one wouldn't work.

I totally agree with you about the Egypt thing btw! ^_^
 
YAY! Got my package without any major questioning! It actually wasn't that hard....then only reason I had to pick it up cause HMV put my CDs in this huge envelope. I'll never undertsand that.

ya you do get a vid with the Limited Edition.....I haven't had a chance to watch it yet cause my parents....erm.....don't know that it belongs to me...😌 They think it's for my friend so I have to wait till I got the house to myself to watch it...

I made a deal with my mom about the single. She said if I walk the dog till my dad comes home from his trip, she'll order it for me!!! :D Just to make sure, it's the regular edition that comes with the calendar rite???

holy ****!!! Yasu just announced Acid Black Cherry's first full length album!!1!!!11one!! :D

It's currently untitled and is releasing Feb 13th 2008!

It's got 3 editions, two special limited editions with a dvd and one regular edition with just the album, here's some info for each special edition.

TYPE A (Limited Edition 1)
"Debut full-length album from Janne Da Arc member yasu's side project Acid Black Cherry includes the songs "Spell Magic," "Black Cherry," and more for 12 tracks total. This limited edition includes bonus DVD with music videos for "Spell Magic," "Black Cherry," "Ai Shitenai," and one other track, alternate videos for "Spell Magic," "Black Cherry," and one more song, behind-the-scenes footage, and bloopers shots."


TYPE B (Limited Edition 2)
Debut full-length album from Janne Da Arc member yasu's side project Acid Black Cherry includes the songs "Spell Magic," "Black Cherry," and more for 12 tracks total. This limited edition includes bonus DVD with live footage of the songs "Spell Magic," "Black Cherry," "Ai Shitenai," and one more song recorded at the band's "2007 secret live - free live" concert plus behind-the-scenes footage from the concert and recording session.

CDJapan says that a photobook comes with the limited edition or something....which edition does it come with??? I think it might be type C cause it doesn't say on the other types....
