Not (c). (a) and (b) sound most natural, (d) is possible..

2 Many of my friends ________ fashion.
(a) follow (b) are after (c) persue (d) keep up with

(a). Not (b) and (c). (d) is not wrong but most people would say (a)

3 This type of skirt will be ________ this summer.
(a) in fashion (b) fashionable (c) trendy (d) a trend (e) on the trend (f) popular

(a) sounds most natural. (b) and (f) are possible, (c) sounds a bit strange (people are usually trendy) and definitely not (d) and (e).

I agree with Lothor, although you don't particularly need the plural form of fashion for the first question. So (a) reads perfectly.

Do you mean that the singular form of fashion would be better than fashions? What about "trend" and "trends"?

The singular form sounds more natural, but you can use both as Lother has pointed out. For 'trend' and 'trends', I would suggest using the plural form but 'fashion' is still the first choice for this sentence.
