Gday all and thank you for looking,i am a newbie to this forum and i need a little help in finding out some things to do in toyama and surrounding areas during golden week, we are leaving kobe on wed and plan to travel by car to my wifes grandmothers house in takaoka. Ihave been there before and visted kanazawa ie kenroken etc all ideas will be appeicated cheers

Hello Bhudda, welcome to Jref!! Great to know we got someone from Kobe in here, because I will be moving to Kobe myself in 45 days! Hope you will have fun on the forum, and make some friend up here, and that you are able to find what you are looking for.

I am sorry I don´t know anything about what to do in Toyama, and the surrounding areas in the golden week. But maybe others in here know it!

I'm not sure if this will be of much help, but there's a cable car up to the foot of Mt. Tateyama. You'll see a whole picture of Noto Peninsula just down
below! Quite a view!

Takaoka ka? Wow, I go near there every summer to camp on the beach, at Hime. I know little except that it's a good place to have a BBQ--and we all know I love those--and go for a dip. I hope you can find something worth doing. AND I do hope to hear from you again !! See you 'round !!
