I came here because I'm trying to learn Japanese and looking for people to talk to about Japanese rock music.
Short bio..
My name is Tara, and I'm 18 years old. I'm half Japanese and white. My parents aren't my real parents so I don't speak Japanese very well. What I know I've learned on my own. I like music, movies, cooking, drawing, and making clothes. Some of my favorite bands are Buck-Tick, D, D'espairsRay, Dir en grey, and a whole bunch of indie bands I don't feel like listing (it's too long!)
My friend took me to a anime convention a few months ago, we went to a concert there to see a band called D'espairsRay. I've been into Japanese music for a few years now, but that was my first concert and I loved it.
I don't know what to think of anime yet, everyone I've talked to about it has a elitist personality and throws so much at me that I can't think straight.

I'm probably going to move to Japan after college. Going to major in art, because everything else is boring.
