I've been taking Japanese for about 4 years and am about to take the the lv 2 JLPT in December. You're 4 years ahead of me in Japanese language ( except for my Kanji is at intermediate level,which is probably above your knowledge of it ),I haven't begin my self-learning on Japanese hiragana script yet.
