So I talked to my friend in 窶佚・ツ催」 lastnight. 👍
She said she had been so busy with work that she had not time to check her e-mail. This made me happy as I told her I thought she was mad at me but I didn't know why. O'course she asked me why and I had no clue how to say it in japanese so I told her not worry about. :p

So she still plans to come to the states this summer and she wants to stay for a month. I think that is great and she could probably pick up a good amount of English for that period of time as she hasn't been studying at all recently.

So that was basically the extent of our conversation except she was telling me that march is one of the Busiest months for japanese. And I told her I didn't understand why and it's probably b/c I am an american. "We have too much time" I told her she thought that was funny. I need to translate this to japanese so i can enter it into my Blog.

Well I just thought I'd sure a happy moment for me. ☝

Yeah I know what u mean...the Japanese think the rest of the world is lazy caus e they don't have that much free time :p When I told my gf I have 3 months summervacation she was like WOW...TOO MUCH !

same as me, im going to japan for a month in summer time, and her mom just say...

HONTO DA, 1 month!!!!!!!!!! tooo long

well better 1 month then 1 week .... ( but my girl who lives in kobe, and work as a teacher on an international school have 10days of with golden week, 1 week in summer time and 1 week with chrismast... and the other MANY japanese 1day holidays)

Still Japanese work HARD. THis girl in Osaka works 60 hour weeks, and my other friend in Zama she works 12hour days O_o I would go nuts.

Hi Damicci,

Your friend is Osaka is busy in March because it is the last month of the business year (and academic year) when all business/sales accounts must be closed and accounting books completed for the fiscal year. Most working Japanese are busy in March. (Me, too! :p )

A lot of Japanese work overtime during busy months, too.

What is it that you want to say in Japanese? :?

Well I originally thought she was mad at me. Why I am not sure I didn't know if I offended her in someway or what but I was a lil distraught b/c we usually talk atleast once a week and 2 weeks had gone by with no word.
But She told me she is just really busy and really wants to talk to me but unfortunately does not have time. So I was really happy to hear that.
I would like to get to know her more since she wants to come stay with me for a month in august to visit the US.
