I'm sorry that my Japanese is still very basic. I only started learning a few weeks ago but still stumble over some of the basics.
Anyway, my name's Kelly and I'm originally from Gibraltar. I've had an interest in Japanese traditional culture and food for quite some time and will be visiting 窶ケナセ窶徭 soon with my partner so that's inspired me to finally learn some Japanese. I'm a bit of a language nerd (although I'm not particularly brilliant with languages). I was raised more or less bilingually in English and Spanish, learnt some French at school, studied Mandarin at university for 4 years and have been trying to learn Dutch for some time.
There's not that much to say, really. I'm currently living in Taiwan with my Dutch partner and will be moving on to the Netherlands later this year (hence my learning Dutch). I've been working as a freelance Chinese to English translator for the past 9 or 10 months but would like to work in travel and tourism in future. Hobbies and interests include languages & linguistics, archaeology, comparative mythology, cultural anthropology, travel and video games.
So that's me. Nothing particularly interesting, but I'll be happy to answer any further questions.
