Hey y'all, so, I'm a huge Casval fan, and my favorite Gundam movie is Char's Counterattack, and my 2 favorite mobile suits of all time are the Nu Gundam 1988, and Sazabi.

I love the original series, Zeta, Double Zeta, and The 08th Mobile Team.

I didn't really dig Gundam Seed, or Destiny at all... I tried, but I just don't like the style of animation. The characters feels blobby.

I prefer older animation, myself, BUT, what do YOU think?!

Sumanai is the casual form of "sumimasen," if you are familiar with that word.

edit: it can also have other meanings depending on the context (住まない or 済まない), but as a standalone word I'll stand by the above interpretation

Sorry to intrude, but your use of the English phrase "what kind of" as you have translated it into Japanese is not correct. This is one of the uses of wa that negates the use of dono in a Japanese sentence. The correct useage is "Gandamu no shiri-zu wa nani ga suki desu ka?"

This is one of the wa…ga… uses that make wa so difficult to use.

I want to add that a colon ( : ) can be used as a "word' which has the same meaning in English as Japanese wa. For example , when translating "Ko-hi- wa nani ga suki desu ka?" Think of it as "Coffee: what do you like?"' When asking , "What kind of coffee do you like?"
