HI, I need to find a recipe for tenpura batter. I want to start cooking authentic Japanese dish, and I cant find it tin my cook books, It seems that its not even listed in the index. If someone can pass me a recipe I would be grateful

For seafood: 1 egg, 1 cup ice water, 1 cup cake flour. For vegetables: 1 egg, 3/4 cup ice water, 1 cup cake flour. Mix the water with the egg, and then stir in the sifted flour.

Ambitious? I think tempura is one of the easiest things to prepare. It's a little messy, but other than that, not much hassle.
