Refreshing, fruity nose reminiscent of green apples and muscat that develops berry-like aromas as it warms to room temperature. It's light-bodied with a lively, fruity sweetness, pronounced rice aromata and a good deal of acidity. The finish is relatively dry and short. It is quite passable and serves as a decent food accompaniment.

Hananomai Kaoru Junmai is made of Yamadanishiki rice, Shizuoka-grown rice milled to 60%, and Association No. 1801 yeast. A delightful aroma of ripe apples and pears mingles with the fragrant scent of rice.
