Fukucho's Kusa carries the Imada handwriting, based on Hatanso rice and Hiroshima yeast. It has a sweet nose with hints of fruits and vanilla; it is light, with slight prickling effervescence, and, true to its name ("kusa" means grass), displays a herbal character with mild bitterness and a faint spiciness. Splendid!
