Echigozakura Daiginjō Teion (越後桜酒造 大吟醸 低温) is made of rice grown in Niigata and polished to 50%. It is a limited summer edition with an exquisite balance of sweet aroma and sharpness.

Teion (低温) means "low temperature" and - according to the brewery - refers to the fact that this daiginjo is brewed at around 17 degrees Celsius, the average temperature in the middle of winter in Agano, home to Echigozakura. Teion has a wonderfully fruity nose with hints of green apple, melon, strawberries, and banana; soft approach with a crisp and rich mouthfeel and a slightly earthy aroma with a sour finish.
