This unilateral annexation of Zama City from Kanagawa Prefecture by Tokyo strikes me as rather high-handed. Instead of elaborating on the details of this unprecedented hostile takeover the reporter got sidetracked on something about cat litter.

My favorite ever overseas reporter blunder was an AP Radio News guy covering sumo saying, "The Nagoya basho in Tokyo...."

yes I'm new to this, Thanks for explaining that Mike, I knew you would be the guy to help, I had no idea, no more threadjacking here, whats the deal with the headless people, terrorist group or just one crazy guy??

Apparently just one crazy guy who put more thought into how he was going to attract victims than how he was going to dispose of their bodies. Nine victims in about two months, all strangers and all of whom came right to his apartment.

The very same modern whizbang electronic gizmos that enabled his rapid string of murders also seems to be what led to his relatively rapid capture.

When all is said and done, though, he'll finish up dancing the Tyburn Jig at the end of a length of very low-tech rope.
