Feedback on virtual formal male attire

Hi everybody.
I'm doing some formal attire for a 3d virtual character (G2 Koji, if anybody is interested).

I think it is mostly accurate, I went for this himo as doing knots in 3d is not for the faint hearted, and it still is a nice knot IMVHO.

However I think the shirt is a bit too open to be formal.

Any suggestions?

You have done the haori wrong, the sleeves should be square shaped and sewn up up the front (not left completely open), like this (by the way, the pic of the hoari in the link below is turned inside out to show off the lining on the inside with the lion motif);

The sleeves of the guys actual kimono should also fit the shape of the haori's.
