Yep, you guessed it. I'll download it after i finish burning some of my stuff onto cd's so i'll have rrom for it. Then maybe ill be able to compaire theories and thoughts. BUt untill then i remain pv-less....

they have clippings arranged differently, and the one I really really like that I felt the clipping was just in the right place was on youtube, the ones I downloaded weren't the same

i didn't know there were that many versions. i downloaded a "supposedly uncut" version but the one i got was different from the youtube's uncut version. Maybe the person who uploaded mine messed up and named it uncut when it was really the normal obscure.
the youtube uncut one is weird though, the song stops halfways and repeats from the beginning. is it supposed to be like that or is there something wrong with it?
hide and v.v.n. i have the same condition as you both. no space
have to rely on youtube for the most parts though i really hate waiting for the clips to load everytime i want to watch something.

well...maybe I didn't explain it very well, the whole PV is pretty much the same, what the difference is that some scenes are put in different places or some parts are totally cut, for example,
this is the cut version which I don't like because it's missing all the fun:
then here is this version, which didn't concentrate much on the geisha woman biting the babie's head and annoying red message board:
and this version, a little bit past the middle where odd being is coming out of Kyo's mouth doing th e twirly-twirly thingy, follow the geisha woman in red kimono, then the music tempo falls low and steady, and picks up bangin' after the geisha woman took a big bite into the babie's head, and kyo puking again:
I felt this version :93: have a lot of pieces of the scenes that weren't seen in other versions and this is the version I like

I'm not so hot about the geisha vs. obake-mask man oral sex thinging scenes but I liked the geisha woman biting the baby head, and the little dances of kyo with the corpses along with the band, and different band member's own moves (the heart-eater die, the thousand-hand shinya...etc)

um.. ophelia, you can register and get a free server like photobucket or imageshack to host your pictures, then you can copy the IMG url and paste it here. that way, you can post all the pics you like without exceeding the attachments limit

I guess this is late but are you counting the Obscure live-version. Because then there's one more. It's pretty cool.
I think the "uncut version" is sort of too much. I like the part with the geisha biting the baby, it goes with the theme (though I don't agree with the theme, but it's a good part and good symboling).
But the rest of the video is so overwhelming that the music just gets all swollowed up, I just glare at the video...

If that would have been my first Dir en grey PV It would have scared me for life. It wasn't though my first PV was Yokan. But now I sort of like it, the only part I don't like is when the geisha eats the baby, I always cringe when I see it. But I guess that is what the band was going for.

I didn't like Child Prey at first either, all though it did sort of remind a bit of the sort of hard core music I was a bit into. But I really like it now, and I think the pv is one of the best Diru pvs. I don't get why people think Kyo is so ugly in it.
Anyway, Obscure. The way I enterpret the lyrics it's another abortion song. And beleive me, I've tried to enterpret it differently, but there are always some things that just leads me back to that theory all the time...

abortion huh??? hm... interesting =P i always thought it was just random stuff that kyo usually sings about? but i love that pv anyways =) i think everyone looks really good in the child prey pv... i just cant stand the song =( but... die... wooo i gotta say, die looks SUPER HOT in that pv =D oh how i wish they would stop switching the screen so fast =P i always try and pause at die's lil part and stare at how nice he looks
