Signature and seal of scroll "rotten axe"

Please translate signature and seal of this scroll about the "rotten axe", a legend.
The first 2 characters read 法橋. AI says:
"Hōkyō" (法橋) is a prestigious title bestowed upon high-ranking, virtuous monks, signifying their deep wisdom and role as guides, much like a bridge.
So the next two characters would be the name. I would expect them in the seal too, but I see no likeness...

To my recollection the title for top painters was Hōgen.
Actually even among the top there are ranks...
"Hokkyō" is not a specific surname but a rank bestowed upon painters. Originally, it was a rank for monks, and there were three main ranks for monks that were also given to painters. The highest rank was "Hōin," which was equivalent to a gold medal. Next was "Hōgen," equivalent to a silver medal, and finally, "Hokkyō," equivalent to a bronze medal.

Trying reddit I got a very promising reaction by DeusShockSkyrim:

Seal: 守萅 Moriharu
守 was explained as [宀+臣+寸] with 臣 missing.
It can not be represented digitally since it is an obscure variant, see 𡬴 and 𡬮.

Now finding that painter was a challenge.
Google images gave only one very fuzzy landscape with fuji and rising sun:


Hitting the google link is useless - the page has gone.
The wayback machine does not have it.
But hitting the google image gives some more fuzzy "close up's" from the expired link..
One of them very interesting, showing a signature very much the same:


Then I realized that the name of the dead link gave vital info:

And it connected the seal 守春 to the signature.
But for 春 in stead of 萅....
Now both are pronounced as haru. Nearly there.
And indeed they are both variants of "spring":
