Covered Jar possibly Satsuma ware

This is a piece owned by the museum.
It looks similar to a Satsuma ware cricket cage.
Can anyone enlighten me and maybe decipher a signature on the base?

I think maybe an incense burner in the shape of a cricket/bug cage.

The signature is illegible to me. Actually, I'm not sure whether it is a signature or not (the squiggle above the A3715).

It certainly does resemble a cricket cage but without the usual ornate basket handle. Thank you! The signature as it has been written in our database is PC. Have to find out who this is now.
