Sengakuji

Sengakuji (泉岳寺), the temple where the bodies of the 47 ronin rest: here chizome, the blood-stained plum tree and stone. Legend has it that when Asano Naganori committed seppuku in the garden of Tamura Ukyodayu's residence, his blood gushed out staining the tree and the stone which were later installed at Sengakuji.
