Cape Kasari (笠利崎 Kasarizaki) is the northernmost point of Amami Ōshima and famous for its white lighthouse. in Japanese mythology, it is the location of Ryūgū-jō (竜宮城, 龍宮城, "Dragon palace castle"), the undersea palace of Ryūjin, the dragon kami of the sea.
