This bronze statue depicts characters created by the celebrated manga artist Fujiko F. Fujio (藤子・F・不二雄). At its centre stands a life-size figure of Fujiko F. Fujio himself, shown as Hiroshi Fujimoto (藤本 弘), portrayed in close interaction with the characters he brought to life. Surrounding him are figures drawn from several of his best-known works, including the title character from Doraemon (ドラえもん), as well as characters from Perman (パーマン) and Kiteretsu Daihyakka (キテレツ大百科).
