Chimpui Pizza: Chimpui (チンプイ) is a Japanese manga and anime series for children created by Fujiko F. Fujio. The story centres on Eri Kasuga (春日 エリ), an ordinary Japanese schoolgirl who is suddenly targeted for marriage by a young prince from the Planet Mahl. To carry out this plan, the prince sends Chimpui, a small, mouse-like alien, to Earth to watch over Eri and guide events in his favour. Much of the series’ humour comes from Chimpui’s well-meaning but intrusive attempts to interfere in her everyday life.
