metallica

Haru, perfect song example " where do we go now?" xP

Gabe, Yeah emo raids are great xP

Mhmm, all those types of bands i know well, but mainly the old stuff due to my youth spent between hell's angels and such in various biker bars.
Megadeth has some of the best tracks, Rust in Peace and Insomnia being two I really like.

Rap...

as I said during class which was handling rap and it's meaning, I stated " No crap without rap"
Christian or not, I think rap music is something for failed poets who can't read poetry accompanied by music properly so they rhime, and fail

what you linked makes me think of slim shady, no matter how I approach it.

I am melomane and love near all music, but rap falls off the boat...sadly it floats..I wish it'd drown xD

good rap must be poetic and contain advanced wordage, and that is the reason why I hate rap/hip top today. new stuff like "you spin me right round' is so retarded.
its like, "DONT YOU KNOW ENGLISH YOU UNEDUCATED LOSER!"

english is, my 4'th language.
I speak and type it quite decently.
When I see american and british people type it.....sometimes I wonder how it is possible that they're so damn awfull at their own language.

I wasn't trying to say that ppl that don't know english are uneducated, only the ones that were raised with it. especially celebrities. if you are a celeb, you should put out an educated appearance, at least with basic stuff like speaking the language of your country.

and props to you. I am too slow to learn other languages, especially japanese

Oh I know, but I mean that the language in the all popular rap music is part of the english bastardization.

I'm a language student myself and would love to learn Jap as 6th language someday.
Celebrities and pop idols.

Also commercials and advertising.
It's to save space and money, but abbreviations are not good for general english.
and people don't take the time to spell anymore.
speaking of time, I'm going to bed [1 am here]

well I can understand some abbreviations like "ppl" since it is long and its commonly used in english, but there needs to be moderation.

and yeah, that "language" is called "ebonics" and its just a cop-out for some blacks to be uneducated.

I think "ebonics" very unlike youth language is an actual threat to proper american english.
Youth language constantly changes, while the ebonics are just the degradation of the proper english language

Oh and, I've taken a liking to one set of rap music.
the "Madworld" OST

xD

being one example of the good tracks in the game.

look up the song "clint eastwood" by "gorillaz"
thats a good one

I've been a fan of that band for ages and I know every song by them starting with clint eastwood.

It's an amazing song and the clip parody on MJ's thriller was amusing too

I only like a few of their songs, most of them I can't stand to be honest

When I got the Demon days cd for my birthday I honestly said "Ergh" in my friends face.

cause most of the songs like white light are awfull at first, but I'm someone who'll give getting accustomed to music a try...so In the endI learned to appreciate it...but I wont listen to it day to day like I do with bands like 16 volt

when I hate something, I usuually dont bother torchering myself again lol

I downloaded the Demon Days CD when it came out, I was not impressed by it. I must've been into rap back then otherwise I'd've never have gotten it. I mainly stick to death metal nowadays. I remember liking Metallica back in 8-9th grade, probably up until 10th.

I mostly listen to metallica's old stuff, their new stuff is okay but their old stuff was aweosme.
megadeth is still good to this day, which must make dave mustaine happy after all that rivalry

Apparently I was the only one that liked St. Anger in addition to their post-self-titled albums. Though I have to say my favorite WAS their self-titled and Kill 'Em All. But then again I started with their S/T. Oh well, whatev.
