wow I can't believe ONE WAY LOVE was written by teruki, I thought for sure it would have been Kanon! Maybe teruki is finally getting a bit of edge to his music lol

this gives me even more hope for the new album!

i really hate An Cafe. It's just a mainstreamed band with horrible guitar chords and a really bad make ups

There are tons of other great bands out there, just do research
 
Before anyone jumps this person, please keep in mind that we are not simply a FAN thread, but a DISCUSSION thread.

Tasui, would you kindly give more reasons than the ones you stated just now? Perhaps the music and make up style are simply not suited to your taste, as they are an oshare kei band. But, mainstream? Up until recently, An Cafe has been an indies band, and pretty secluded, though yes, they've gained quite a bit of popularity.

Another thing is that they would not be 'mainstream' if they didn't have the talent to get up there. I simply think it's just a difference of taste. If that's the case, then you really have no right to tell us whether to like them or not by implying that we should listen to other bands, and not An Cafe.
 
Theres an Ancafe thread for their fans, not for people who dislike the band so if you don't like it don't post in it :\

and I dont think you have any place to tell fans what to listen to

Here in Chile it's a very mainstream band among visual kei fans, oshare kei fans, etc, specially the newcomers to the genre. But if you ask for some more experienced visual kei fans they will always give you the same answer: another example of comercial music, with horrible guitars and horrible drums (i'm not a visual kei fan but i know how to recognize good instrument work)
 
Perhaps so. However, that's still a matter of opinion. Not to mention, again: If they did not have the skills in the first place, they would not be so 'mainstream' as you proclaim.

Junk sleep
Teruki death.
Today, I did not step one foot out of my house (-_-)

In the evening, they were doing a feature on a problem that occurs nowadays called "junk sleep". Supposedly, when you watch TV or play around with your laptop or cell phone in the dark before you sleep, it not only affects your eyesight, but your sleep too. It makes it harder for you to fall asleep, and when you do, it is only a light sleep.

So to people who find yourselves fidgeting with their phones when you can't sleep, your condition becomes worse.

Nyappy o(≧∀≦)o It's Miku. These days I am really in to music. I am getting in to personal practices, and playing a lot of guitar. It's not hard though. It's so fun!! I feel like I can accomplish things this year. A lot of things. This year will be the year of persistence. Recently, I had a nabe party(nabe is when you have boiling water in a pot, and put meat and vegetables in it and take out yourself and eat it.)with my favorite artist♪He is in a band that I liked since I was in high school☆He is such a good humored person, but is so nice, and I was so happy to meet him☆I took a picture with him, and right now, I have it as the background on my cell phone. I probably will not change my background from now on...

Today, I got my hair done at punk-man's place. I found another hairstyle that I love. I was looking through a girls magazine and found a hairstyle that I like, so I showed it to Punk-man to fix it up for me. In the end, it came out to be really nice☆Please be waiting to see. The color is called, so cute and pretty pink milk tea. Punk-man was calling it that, so I'm not sure if there really is such color... I think just pink milk tea is okay v( ｀∀´v) On the way back, I ate at a place where I always go, called Harajuku Gyouza Rou☆Their mizu gyouza (gyouza/dumplings that are cooked in soup) are so good. If you have the chance to stop by Harajuku, please go! Well, I will go to sleep now☆

Today, we made an appearance on Tokyo FM "Wonderful World". We talked about it during the talk too, but Ancafe has known Mogi-san for a long time. I have two of Mogi-san's signs☆It was so fun, and I was so happy. Thanks to all the Cafekko who came m(_ _)m

While we were getting our make up done at the company office, we were watching a horror movie that takuya brought in. It wasn't that scary, but I think it would be scarier if you watch it by yourself at home. I feel like borrowing a movie (^-^)

Come one! deal with reality: 5 million people can think a particular crap is good. But it keeps being just crap. There are a lot of people with horrible musical tastes (specially n00b visual kei fans), there are just few with enough good taste to criticize what's good and bad. Please don't compare AnCafe with such good bands like D or Ayabie.

and i'm not saying it's ONLY for ancafe fans but i mean what else would you find in an Ancafe thread?? you're not gonna get very far arguing you're point with a bunch of fans XDD

No, Tasui is right when this isn't a fan only thread. It's also discussion, like I said in my first post in response to his or her post.

I'm not saying An Cafe is the best band out there. I for one like other bands as well. However, I also like An Cafe. It's also one thing to state your opinion on a band if you've a plausible reason besides how 'ugly' they are, but it's another thing to outright say that a band sucks to loyal fans' faces and tell them that they have bad taste, or that they should listen to other bands.

It's also immature to be insulting our intelligence at this rate. Like I said, it's a difference in tastes.

You've said that in Chile it's a very mainstream band. But that doesn't mean that it applies to other countries as well. An Cafe isn't the greatest band alive but at least it provides fans of theirs music which makes them happy. And no, we did not compare bands. Each band has their own personality which contributes to why the fans like them. Different bands also have music catering to different people. If you don't like a certain band, then don't listen. Will it make a difference if you start ranting about how bad a band is? It's just a waste of time to go like: "xxxx sucks. Their music are complete bs etc etc." So what? Will fans stop listening to them just because of that? Will their fame drop because of that?

Tasui: If a band is crap or not it depends on the opinions of people. If a lot of people like it, that's fine, other people can think it's crap, whatever, it doesn't make the band crappy just because YOU don't like it. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it crap. No band is crap is people like it.
