hey there Kaine, hello! 🙂 it seems like ages since i seen u, too. 😊 since i don't visit the Lareine thread any more *don't have time to go in every thread, nor listen to music so much lately* :(

i haven't seen the youtube vid yet... not allowed to watch vids at work (and no sound on this machine ¬_¬) but thank u for the pic! 👍 their costumes are absolutely gorgeous, no other word for it, what an atmospheric pic. i wish i could make clothes like that (altho they would look stupid on me.. haha.. still, maybe i could make them for other ppl to wear XD)

I don't think that there's already a thred for this group, so I decided to make my own ^^

Versailles is a visual-rock group formed in March (2007) by Kamijo, Jasmine You, and Hizaki.

The current line up is Kamijo (vocalist), Hizaki (Guitar), Teru (Guitar), Jasmine You (Bass) and YUKI (Drums).

They currently have one single out called "The Revenant Choir" (which is a very beautiful song btw...kinda like a story) which also have a PV (hopefully the link works: ). They're releasing a 7-song album October 31 2007 called "Lyrical Sympathy" and a DVD called "Aesthetic Violence" in December.

I personally really like listening to "The Revenant Choir". The guitar solo/duet is INSANE and their outfits are honestly so beautiful.
 
Omg! I love Versailles. Hizaki is an amazing guitarist and super beautiful too. Teru is cute too. Anyway, I love the song. Really really love it. Especially the drumming in it. It's awesome *O*
Can't wait for their next release!

I've heard of them but never did I realize that they just made the band in March. I had heard of Kamijo because he's in my Cure magazine from March but I can't read it so I don't know what he's saying... -_-'

Hey highlight/inform me when there's something new around Versailles, i just love the PV, and indeed its like a story but with good music!

*info from CD JAPAN (CDJapan : Japanese Anime, Jpop, Japanese music, Game music, Japanese movie, CD, DVD)

There are 5 different versions... Kamijo version with a perfume called 'Louis', Hizaki version with a perfume called 'Princess Stairs', Teru version with a perfume called 'B.P.T.', a Jasmine You version with a perfume called 'Elegant Jasmine', and a Yuki version with a perfume called 'Dark Master'.

I wonder what each one of the perfumes smell like.... I also wonder what 'B.P.T.' stands for... I'm trying to talk my dad into pre-ordering one for me but I can't pick which one! :P
 
There already is A treath for them.. even before there looks and first song was out....

This was the first time I'd heard of a Versailles thread. It's funny their named after the Versailles Palace of Paris France... I was like, why are they named after a palace???

I keep wondering something, why are JRock bands named with FRENCH names??????
 
they come with fragrances?! XD well that's... different.

now i really want one XD do they come in pretty bottles?!

I only know kamijo loves french they used it a lot in lareine to. *a letre to lili de charlotte*
 
A Versailles thread! :D

I love their baroque dressing style and music.. Something really unique and sets them apart from other bands.. :D

Can't wait for their first album which is releasing soon.. I think the name is Lyrical Symphathy? o,0 I even forgotten the release dates.. darn..:eek:
 
ya it's called Lyrical Sympathy! My dad said he'd order it for me!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!

@ Dakkii I hope they do come in pretty bottles ^^ I love perfume and frangrances, but I love it more when they come in pretty bottles XD

Lyrical Sympathy will be released OCT 31 (Trick or treat! ...more like TREAT!) and the DVD will be released DEC 12! I'm trying to talk my dad into getting me the DVD for Christmas XD I'm still deciding which one to get though......So far, I've cut it down to the Kamijo version and the Yuki version~ my brain's not made to do all this decision making....

Oh yeah, I remember seeing somewhere that there are different versions of the DVD! Which makes it even harder to choose.. Darn why do they have to come out so many different versions.. :(

Gosh, I really really like their outfits.. I read somewhere that they designed it themselves and had it custom made. XD
