Thinking thru of what you've just said, I quite agree with why most jrockers look like women... But that's the kind of women looking guys that made fan girls like us totally obsessed with them...

taking female parts comes more from the theater. In the past days only men have been allowed to play theater so they did the female roles as well.
Also it's kinda of an ideal to reach for a man t be as pretty as a women.

and yeah to the structure point. They are moe fragile and the shapes are softer.

I wish they would have a TV apperance soon for promoting >.< (I just can't get over the Hey x3 thing. It was too great)

yeah in the kabuki theatre all actors are male,even female parts are played by a male coz it was said that when women were still allowed to act on the plays it was used as a front for prostitution so i guess that kinda influenced the idea of guys dressing up like girls

i consider all the gaze men to be very healthy like andie says. but yeah it doesget on my nervous when my guy friends look at my bindaer and "dang that chick hot!" and then i tell them its a man, then they get this horrified look on there face...makes me want to smack them silly. The men who dare to dress more feminine are the more masculine ones.

The cute stereotype is kind of annoying, so it's good that they don't have one (if you don't think about Kai.. but.. that's his personality. xD)

Kai is cute, yeah but it's not this superficial cuteness like others pull off in my eyes. He is very natural, at least it appears like that.

yeah i know what you mean....but i do believe there is hope for some ppl. like my art teacher. i did some color pencils and pastels of the gaze boys, alice nine, and Kra. and when they were done most ppl though they were women, wich tweeked at my nervous a bit, but my teacher knew that they weren't!! i was so happy, finally someone who knows what they are tlaking about! she said they may look like females, but you have to look really closly at the bone structure in the face.
