Meet from History

Wow, there's so many people from history I'd like to meet, it's difficult to say them all! ☝
I'd like to meet the famous religious leaders/teachers, people like Jesus, Mohammed, the Buddha, Pope John Paul II... a lot more people... also famous artist... there are too many of them that I'd like to meet 😌 and there are a few dead people I want to meet too, but they aren't really 'people from history', just - dead people XD... oh yeah and famous explorers, to hear interesting things about their journeys... and... there was this guy who used to go cycle touring on a pennyfarthing... I forget his name >_< but I'd love to have a conversation with him. And many classical composers, too... there's just too many!

Another vote for Jim Morrison 👍

My ultimate choice would be Akhenaten. I'd want to know whether he really looked like those weird statues, whether his monotheism really came from Israel or if he was just a sun worshipper, I'd ask how his brother died and whether he was really Tutankhanum's father. I'd ask him to write me some poetry! :-)

Funny to see all of the people who want to meet Jesus...but what would you do if you found out he was truly just a carpenter? Not trying to go off topic, but I would guess you would be extremely hurt and disappointed.

Kind of like going to the parting of the sea only to find out that it never really happened. That is the problem we would face with actual time travel...you get there and say "hey, what's going on, this isn't right!"

Actually, my grandfather, I never knew him since he died before I was born. :(
And Bruce Lee would be my "famous" person to meet :)

Well, I dunno, seems like he was a pretty nice guy anyway, so I guess we'd just go and hang out somewhere and have a drink and talk about ... stuff ... :beer1: I could use a bit of advice on my woodworking in any case - I want to know how to get my mitre joints the most accurate without having to use a guillotine.

I'd like to meet Ravel, too. :p

I agree! It would be quite a night. Maybe we should do it in his memory!
