Just wanted to point out something though. In his 'Diary' he uses the word tensai to describe himself. 'Genius' is the common translation for it but tensai is composed of two characters; "sky/heaven" and "skills/talent." So if given more artistic license, tensai can mean a range from "Heavenly talented" and "Blessed by Heaven with skills" to "A master (of something)".

I guess Genius is a more funny, practical and accurate way of saying it...

So why am I ranting? haha...ha... um... I desperately wanted to voice the fact that Miyavi was describing himself with a term that allures to something more divine because it (kind of ) justifies the fangirl in me who's interpreting this quote as:

No matter how I see it, I'm the closest thing to perfection.




I exaggerated greatly :sorry: But in the case of Miyavi "perfect" is a more accurate way of describing him right?

Hahaha, Miyavi is so funny.
I can't say that I like Kyo cutting himself either, though I wish he'd been allowed to do what he wanted in Germany.
Apparently they were "cencored". I mean if he was going to do it then it'd been better if he had for real instead of faking it(unless that was what he really wanted).
But I don't think it's just a goth show he puts on and that peice of Machiavellism shows just that.
It mocks the "show-cutters", the poseurs if I'm allowed to use such a pretencios word.
That's what Juvi meant, unless we've misenterpreted each other.

And I doubt Kyo would be found dangling from a doorknob unless he was allowed to cut himself on stage by the way.

I think this quote shows the enlightening and inspired Meev >.> I think he is amazing in that at times he can come off as a conceited jerk, for example he calls himself Oresama, and then other's, like the way he treats fans and coworkers and his fellow Jrockers he shows that he is really kind and considerate...(when doing lives during lunch he makes sure everyone else has something to eat before he sits down to eat, and when a fan can't see well at a live he does anything he can to help them see better.) It's utterly adorable
