Yamaguchi City has achieved a significant milestone: It has been selected for the prestigious Swiss Tourism Awards, which recognize outstanding tourist destinations worldwide. Following in the footsteps of Kyoto, the first Asian city to receive the award in 2023, Yamaguchi is the second Japanese city to be honoured.
