Hello,

I haven't been hanging out at the forum so much since I started seeing my girlfriend. Well, now I'd like to buy her a little something, like earrings.

This would be difficult in the US, but in Tokyo I wouldn't know where to start -- are there any good chain stores? specific neighborhoods in Tokyo to look? how not to get ripped off?

Visit department stores, usually they have several jewellery shops on the ground floor.
If you look for something not too expensive, try Marui or Isetan as their main target is young people (especially Marui).

It is Okachimachi close to Ueno a noble metal is cheap, and to be various.

Because there are many jewel wholesale dealers in Okachimachi.

The jeweler's shop for adults is Ginza and Aoyama Omotesando.
