Why don't you people wake up and stop tring to kill everything that swims in the ocean?

OK OK!! I stand corrected. I watched "The Cove" on TV last night and was feeling upset and wanted to vent. I will review past discussions. There are two sides to every coin. One thing I got from the movie was that most Japanese people insde Japan don't know what is going on with the whales and dolphins. If they did they would most likly object, I think. Sorry if I rubbed anyone the wrong way.

I have to commend you for this post, no sarcasm. First time I have seen someone take (heavy) criticism so well on this forum.
Blah, blah, blah... I am still waiting for your reply in the other whaling thread...You're correct though, so don't apologize! Japan's government does allow the slaughter of near a thousand whales each year for the purpose of eating them when all's said and done. You have a right to be irate over what the Japanese government is doing in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary. Not only are they slaughtering a thousand extremely intelligent creatures each year, but they're lying to the Japanese people, and the entire world about the very purpose of their whale slaughter each year.
You have been given some reputation because of this, please post more. The forum always needs more people with a backbone to contribute to it.
LOLHopefully you will hang around for a bit and become part of our group. Looks like a few of our members held your feet to the fire , but hopefully no hard feelings, LOL.
Uncle Frank
Animal harvest ought to be based on science
not when your people slaughter both domestic and wild game for their own food resource.
Exactly, science dictates that going on a yearly whale slaughter is not good for the whale population. Science has shown us how remarkably intelligent these whales are, and the cold pang of logic dictates that it does not matter that Japan has a heritage with whaling(An emotional bond? LOLZ), that the fact that the international community wants them to stop should be a blazing beacon to the Japanese in regards to whether or not what the government is doing is right.
By this logic, Sea Shepard has the right to meddle due to the fact that all aboard their vessels are vegetarians.
That's the draft for the land ship I intend to create to slaughter animals the Japanese way.
