warning points?

How come some members have "warning points" in their profiles?

That means they've been warned about something they have done that was inappropriate. If someone gets 7 warning points, they will be banned automatically.

I see, what I don't understand is if you look at my profile it says "warning points: 0" if I look at your profile its not even there.

Well, you obviously haven't given us any reason yet to warn you.

Team members do not display warning points in their profile.

humm I'm not really talking about the number next to warning points more of the section, maybe I'm just not explaining my self right.

It seems like a funny/(or maybe a little unwelcoming for newcomers) category to me as well if only one or two have them (or should ). Our reputation points would be better don't you agree?

only admins/advisors/mods can give or subtract warning points. the only way you can get one is for doing something you shouldn't. so unless someone is a chronic troublemaker, there is nothing to worry about.

I did a little picture to help explain what I mean, I just picked a random member.

All I wanted to know is why some have it and some don't.

your meant to be able to see your own points luc. so you are aware of your warning level but i dont think you should be able to see anyone elses. can you see them in any other profile besides your own?
if you can see other peoples its probably just a permissions error that will have to get worked out.

I haven't searched a lot of members but I can see Golgo_13 and Buddha Smoker warning points in their profiles.

We previously decided to make warning points visible to all members. What's the use of issuing warnings points if the system is not transparent? Anyhow, in order to avoid further confusion they are now hidden from everyone except team members.
