Vampire Princess Miyu

I'm talking spacifically about the original manga here...
don't get me wrong, the anime's great, but nothing compares to Narumi Kakinouchi's original artwork

Vampire Princess is like... my precious as far as manga's concerned.
i'd say they're my Plastic Tree of Manga (Gravitation being my Kagrra, )
this meaning, it's my first real love and it holds a very dear place in my heart.

i love the stories, the artwork... everything about it.
it's made me laugh, made me cry (a lot) made me squeek like a guinipig, lol.

i'm just interested to see if there's anyone else about who's read the manga, and like me prefers it to the anime...


ok, but before i continue, i must mention, i've only read volume 2-5 because that's all i've been able to get my hands on
and i've only seen episodes 1-3 because that's all i could afford >.<

i also have Narumi Kakinouchi's spinnoff serise, volume 1 of the wanderer....
has anyone read any of the other spinnoffs?

Oh wow i might actually watch this now! Anything with vampires is certaintly an interest to me.
