Hi there again. I am currently learning to use から in another way other than placing it at the end of a sentence to describe a situation by incorporating it into the statement itself. Can someone please mark this one sentence to help me see if I have understood it? Thanks.

I won't do exercise because I am sick today.

Answer:

わたしはびょうきから、うんどうしません。

When using から the statement preceding should be complete, so for na-adjectives/nouns you add だ before から:

びょうきだから (or ですから)

Otherwise looks good to me. You can also use 気分が悪い (きぶんがわるい - the が is sometimes dropped) instead of びょうき if you're feeling a bit sick/unwell.

Ah, funny you should say that. I was originally going to put だ in XD guess I should stuck with it. Thanks for the reply!

Another useful (and frequently used) alternative to びょうき is 体調が悪い (たいちょうがわるい)
