Translation of a rare (?) symbol needed

Hello everyone,

I could need help with the translation of this symbol here:



It's the one between the symbols for "fish" and "inn" (provided I translated those correctly).



This is a screenshot from a Japanese interactive novel. I'm sorry for the low resolution, but that's as high as the game goes. If anyone here could help me with that, that'd be great. The symbol looks symbol for that for demon/magic (魔) but doesn't seem to be quite that symbol.
 
鱗 うろこ = scale (as in fish or snake scales).

I should mention that in the example above, you would use the on-yomi, which is rin.
So the name of the inn/restaurant would be Uorin-tei。
 
The reading ぎょりんてい would be more common.
