I have a regular car license, so I'm unsure about the guidance and unable to find the guide for 250cc+ scooters to abide by.

My question is (and if it can be backed up by the guide), would be how much following distance behind a car is a 250cc scooter supposed to have and does the 250 cc scooter have to remain in the center of the lane or are they able to drive close to the right or left lines when traveling straight in their lane?

Thanks

In Japan, you cannot ride a 250cc motorcycle with a regular driver's license.
With a regular driver's license, you can only ride a motorcycle of 50cc or less.

I'm looking for traffic law or guidance on specifically operating it, provided licensed.

Does a motorcycle/scooter of that size (and greater) have to remain, for the most part, in the center of the lane, or can they drive center line given a two-lane white dashed road (both lanes the same direction), and how much following distance is required between it and any vehicle in front of it?

Please refer to this video about the run of the motorcycle.
